Time for a new recipe and this one is definitely different than anything I’ve made before. I don’t normally think of potato chips as cooking ingredients, but this sounded pretty interesting and I thought it was definitely worth sharing. So here you go – Crunchy Chip Chicken:
What You Need
- 1 1/2 cups crushed sour cream and onion chips
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 large boneless skinless chicken breast halved
- 1/4 cup oil (I used olive oil)
What You Do
In a shallow bowl combine chips and parsley. In another bowl combine the beaten egg with Worcestershire sauce and 1 tablespoon of water. Dip the chicken into the egg mixture then dredge across chip mix. Heat your oil in a large, heavy skillet and cook chicken in the heated oil for about 10 minutes on each side until golden brown or juices run clear. Serve with whatever sides you like with your chicken (I made rice pilaf and green beans as sides this time). Pretty easy and definitely something different to try. (Super yummy by the way!)
What’s the most interesting recipe you’ve ever tried? How did it turn out? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!

May 17, 2014 at 10:34 pmI just used the store brand (I’m all about cheap) but I really think you could use whatever your fave is – even other flavors to experiment with if you really wanted.
