I guess everyone knows that the Super Bowl is coming up this weekend. I’m going to admit, I’m not a crazed football fan, and really don’t follow closely but since I live in Washington State, I pretty much have to be excited about the Seahawks making it this year. Regardless of who’s playing though, you have to admit, the Super Bowl is one helluva good excuse for an awesome party! As such, if you’re at all like me you’ve waited until the last couple of days prior to the big event (possibly the day before) and still don’t know exactly what you want to serve your guests or bring for your host. Well, you’re in luck because while I don’t always have the time to make a zillion different recipes for you to try out, there are some awesome people out there who do so I’ve picked a few of my faves that I think are fun and tasty to share and give you some ideas. Let’s get started shall we?
Snackadium – Sunshine & Sippy Cups : Now you’ve probably seen this before because it’s pretty popular on the ole internet, but if you haven’t and you have a little time, you should definitely give this a try. I’m sure it would be a HUGE hit at your party.
Football Brownie Bites – The Nerds Wife: I picked these because, well ,they fit the “football” them and they’re super easy. I mean who doesn’t like a brownie? Win-Win if you ask me.
Cheesy Bread w/ Avacado Salsa – Kids Fun Review: Every party has chips & dip, or at least it should. This looks amazing and it’s different than a lot of the “normal” chips & dips that might normally show up on the table.
Football 7 Layer Dip- A Little Tipsy: Do you normally make a 7 layer dip for parties? I know they’re a big hit whenever we have get-togethers. Well, with just a little bit of tweaking, that 7 layer dip you were going to make anyway can become the center of attention at this years Superbowl Bash.
Football Deviled Eggs– My Mommy Style: These are super cute, super easy, and I think that’s really what everyone wants in a party snack. Am I right? I don’t think you can ever go wrong with deviled eggs at any potluck.
Goal Post Drinks – Get Creative Juice: Now with all that food, you’ve got to have something to drink and these may be just the ticket. Creative, fun, and you can use any drinks you want, alcoholic or otherwise. Awesomeness!!
Tebow Cupcakes – Reini Days: Now I know not EVERYONE is a Seahawks fan, so just in case I threw in something for you too. Good news is that this recipe could easily be adapted to become 12th Man Cupcakes as well so it’s still something that is going to work for everyone.
If you need to go back and find any of these awesome ideas or browse through a few more, be sure to follow my Football Food board on Pinterest.
What’s your favorite party recipe? Who do you think is going to win the Superbowl or do you just want like the snacks? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!
