Many thanks to Depend for sponsoring today’s story and encouraging people to #dropyourpants for #underwareness.
You know I think of all of you like family right? With family sometimes we share about personal issues. Bladder leakage, it’s pretty personal, and this may be just an assumption, but I’m pretty sure that some of you (especially you ladies….yeah you, the ones with the babies out there) have experienced it. I bet what you didn’t know is that you’re not alone. In fact, over 65 million Americans experience bladder leakage and over 12 million of those are under age 35. That’s an astoundingly large number — crazy right??
I can also tell you that it’s not a disease or a disability or anything to be ashamed of; it just happens. You know, after having a couple of amazing kids pouncing around on the old bladder it may not be as strong as it once was. (Anyone else ever sneeze and end up with another little surprise at the same time? Yeah, thought so!) For some people it’s a bigger and more common problem than for others. The good news is that Depend can help.
I know what you’re thinking…Depend? That’s like a diaper right?? Not at all, and it’s not just for your grandparents either. Heck, your buddy, co-worker, or neighbor may be using Depend right now! Depend provides a variety of discreet products that help people regain their freedom and get their lives back.
Depend wants to share with the world that bladder leakage is nothing to be ashamed of and has created a new social movement to do just that. You can drop your pants for underwareness and help spread the word! Depend will donate $1, up to $3 million, over the next three years to charities that advance the research, education and awareness of bladder leakage for:
- Every pant drop, photo and video shared using #Underwareness and #DropYourPants;
- Every personal video made about what Underwareness means to you that is uploaded to YouTube and tagged #Underwareness and #DropYourPants.
So, stop sweeping the issue under the rug and acting like it doesn’t apply to you if it does. Instead stand up and drop your pants for underwareness and CLICK HERE for more details or to request a free sample for yourself!

August 7, 2014 at 1:59 pmBwahahahha! i was not expecting that! I love this, though! My Grandma had bladder issues and hardly ever left the house, because of embarassment. 🙁 So glad Depends is working on making it a non-issue!

August 7, 2014 at 7:45 pmMe to!! Ya know, everyone had an issue of some type and they should never have to sacrifice quality of life because of embarassment. I’m super happy that Depend decided to call attention to something like this and say “hey, ya know what? You’re not the only one — it’s not that bad and there is solution!”
