Thank you to Bellisio Foods for sponsoring this story. My love for bold taste and convenience is all my own.
What’s for dinner? That’s a question that people around my house start asking before breakfast is even over every day. It’s also a question I dread because between a full time job outside the home, a tween, a toddler, and the obligations and responsibilities that come with owning horses and other animals, dinner often just feels like another chore. I mean really, must they eat every single day?
Since the family must be fed regularly, I try to be as healthy as possible, but I also tend to seek out convenient options that still taste great. On occasion we go out to eat, but that’s not really practical or budget friendly to do every day so ultimately, a dinner decision must be made at some point. Sometimes it’s the most stressful part of my day – finding options that don’t take too much work and that everyone will want to eat. (Easy clean-up is worth something around our homestead too.) When I found out about Chili’s® new line of made for home meals, I was definitely interested.
One well known fact about this girl, is that I love food that has a little kick so when I found out that Chili’s® at Home had options like Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese, I was pretty excited. I mean that’s a combo I’m pretty sure was made specifically for me so you know I had to try that out. (By the way, it tasted as good as it sounds! Yumm-o!). Hubby is definitely a fan of the Bacon Mac & Cheese (I mean really, who doesn’t like bacon right?)
What was even better was that you can get single serve portions, or family size options depending on your needs. This is awesome because sometimes there are flavors only I like or I may need something just to take to work for lunch, but I can also pick up enough to make the same dish for the whole family if I want too. I was able to throw an entire meal together in under 10 minutes the other day – and that includes the time I spent taking the dishes out of the cabinet and, heating up the macaroni and the grilled chicken, and opening the can of green beans. For me, the time savings alone is worth every penny.
Now I know you’re getting excited (and I don’t blame you) and want to give Chili’s® at Home a try for yourself. Good news! Just click here to check out all the flavors and grab a money saving coupon, then pick some up on your next shopping trip. Your family will love you and you can thank me later!
What flavors of Chili’s® at Home would you want to try? What’s your favorite quick and easy weeknight dinner? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!

August 25, 2014 at 10:51 amI used to love Chili’s in my college days. Cajun Shrimp Alfredo was my favorite. It’s cool you can get their items at the grocery store.
