Who likes to have a drink once in a while? Yes…I thought so. And since it’s almost the weekend, the timing couldn’t be better! We’ve heard of all kinds of flavored vodka right? I mean we have cotton candy vodka, vanilla vodka, berry vodka, citrus vodka, even bacon vodka (really?? I mean I suppose it probably makes for a mean Bloody Mary ). What I’ve got for you today though is a super fun and super easy to make Candy Corn Vodka just in time for the autumn festivities like Halloween and Thanksgiving. (Yes, Thanksgiving is a drinking holiday…aren’t they all really?) And everyone loves Candy Corn right?? (You better say yes or we can’t be friends…)
Now, this Candy Corn Vodka is super easy and would be super fun to have at Halloween Party or to give to your very favorite adult trick-or-treaters. To make this all you need is a mason jar which I know we all have from all that canning we’ve been doing or those awesome mason jar crafts we pinned but never got around to finishing. Then you simply take your favorite vodka (or in my case whatever happens to be on sale at the liquor store) and add equal parts of that and candy corns in the mason jar – so ½ full of candy corn and fill the rest with vodka. Then close the jar up, give it a good shake, and let it sit for 3-4 hours. Once it’s had plenty of time to soak up that Candy Corn flavor, strain the vodka and there you go – you’re very own Candy Corn flavored vodka. Drink as is, on the rocks, or mix up some crazy new cocktail. Doesn’t get any easier than that does it?!
So what do you think? Something you could see yourself using this fall? What’s your favorite vodka cocktail? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!
