Wowza! Can you believe that it’s only like a week until Christmas? I’m not sure how it got here so fast, but I can tell you, I still have some shopping to do. I’ve gotten most of the major gifts, but I definitely need to get my booty in gear and finish up the stockings. For the kiddos, that can be relatively easy, but for the adults…sometimes I really rack my brain trying to find a stocking stuffer that is cool and cost effective. I’m sure I’m not the only one that runs into that at the last minute so I’ve prepared a list of a few things that I thought were pretty neat and would be perfect for stuffing the stockings of any beauty lover on your list.
Girls, no matter how low maintenance they claim to be, love to feel pretty so beauty products are always a win. I think most ladies would love to get any of these on Christmas morning:
YALMEH Foundation Brush – I’m going to tell you a secret, I had never used a foundation brush before trying this one so I have nothing other than makeup sponges and my trusty fingers to compare it to, but I love it. It’s created from synthetic fiber material so it should be long lasting and it’s hypoallergenic for those with sensitive skin. It’s the perfect size for travel and it works amazingly for blending. I’ve used with both liquid and powder foundation and it cleans up easily. Right now it’s on sale on Amazon for $11.95 so you really can’t beat the price for a quality foundation brush…definitely stocking worthy!
Paula Dorf Cosmetics Blush in Passion – You may have read my review a couple weeks ago on a Paula Dorf Eye Palette. I really loved it so I was excited to try the cheek color too. I tried the color Passion and it really has a soft translucent natural glow with extraordinary staying power. I didn’t have to touch up my blush all day but it wasn’t so dark or thick that it seemed “clownish”. This cheek color could work for just about any skin tone as well, so although it can sometimes be hard to buy beauty products for others when it comes to matching the palette’s they prefer, you can be you’ll be safe with this. Right now if you order online, just use promo code CHEEK at checkout for 20% off.
Sinful Nail Colors – I love Sinful polish. It has good coverage and stays on well, and it’s affordable, which is good because I change my polish almost daily so I need every single color ever produced. Dreamy shades and illuminating textures mean there’s something for everyone on the list this season! What’s even better? Right now the SinfulColors Holiday collection is is available for $1.99 each exclusively at Walgreens. What that means is you still plenty of time to pick some up and make a lady on your Christmas list very happy and you’re wallet won’t feel any lighter after the fact.
Lorac Champagne Dreams Eyeshadow Palette – I ran across this the other day at Ulta, and it was a steal at only $15.00. When I got home I looked it up online, and evidently it was originally a Black Friday online exclusive, which I knew nothing about (apparently I live in a hole), but it’s now available in store and the price is perfect. I love shimmery colors and there are 7 different amazing shades to choose from so this palette is right up my alley. In fact I think I want to buy another one, because since it’s a special edition I know I’m going to be devastated when I finally hit pan on any of these amazing shades. Also, I didn’t see this online to be ordered at all anymore, so you may want to hit up your nearest Ulta today and pick one of these up.
Those are the great ideas I came up with…well at least they’re some of the things I wouldn’t mind finding in my own stocking on Christmas morning. Will you be picking any of these up for yourself or others? Which ones would you most want to check out? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!
