This is a promotional post for The Original Harlem Globetrotters on behalf of USFamily Guide. I received complimentary tickets to the show. All opinions are 100% my own
Wednesday night my family had the opportunity to go see the Harlem Globetrotters. I’ve seen them a few times, but it’s been several years and my kids and hubby had never seen them before. To be honest, I was exhausted after work and almost decided just to stay home…please tell me you have those days too. My son though, had been looking forward to this for a couple of weeks and was super excited about going so I did what any good mama would do and sucked it up and went. Once we got settled in our seats and the show started I was glad that I had decided to go after all because the show was a hoot!
Just like I remembered, there was fun, games, stunts, dancing, audience participation, and plenty of laughs for the whole family. I even caught hubby who has little to no sense of humor, chuckling in his seat on more than one occasion. I also thought it was pretty cool that there is now a female on the team, TNT, and wait until you see Stretch…all 75 feet of him (at least he seems that tall standing next to pretty much everyone else)!
I was definitely entertained and the kids had a blast. The players engaged with the audience and even stuck around after the game for autographs. Usually my kids get bored and we end up leaving a lot of events at half-time or intermission, but not this time; we were there until the very end.
If you’re thinking this sounds like a fun family outing, your absolutely right and guess what? I can help you save some of your hard earned money on tickets! Just head to http://harlemglobetrotters.
