Thank you to Honey Bunches of Oats for sponsoring this post. All opinions and my love for a quick, convenient, and nutritious breakfast are 100% my own!
It’s no secret that my schedule is crazy busy. Hectic would be an understatement and to top it all off, this mama is soooo not a morning person. I will do anything I can to get an extra minute or two of sleep….yes, every single second counts if it’s before 8:00 am. Seriously, you have no idea how bad it is. People say that after you get into a routine your body adapts, but I’ve had the same routine and work schedule for almost 15 years now, and no…not it doesn’t, at least not for me. Put simply, mornings can be rough if one single thing doesn’t go as it should. Sometimes that means skipping breakfast…okay that’s what it means the majority of the time. Mom lives on coffee and sometimes the kids are running out the door to the bus with a bag of chips or a string cheese so not the optimal morning nutrition.
Our mornings just got a little bit easier though because one of our family favorite cereals, Honey Bunches of Oats, is coming out of the bowl with the arrival of new Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits! This new on-the-go breakfast option makes mornings soooo much easier! You literally just grab a pack and go. Winning!!
These little biscuits are made with 100% whole grain to provide families with long-lasting energy which is necessary for those crazy kiddos and probably a good idea for the ever exhaused mom and dad of the herd too! Each pouch contains 4 biscuits and are available in 3 flavors: Honey Roasted, Strawberry and Chocolate Chip so picky eaters, you’re covered. My son loves the chocolate chip and my daugher won’t stop eating the strawberry. Hubby’s a honey roasted guy and fortunately I think they’re all delicious because as you know, mom always ends up with what’s left!
These are perfect for dunking in your morning coffee or tea or topped with low fat yogurt and berries. For us, they’re super simple to just toss in a bookbag or purse and nobody has to go without in the morings …or afternoons for that matter…these are a great, easy snack any time of day!
If you think these are the perfect solution for your family as well, be sure to visit honeybunchesofoats.com for more information and be sure to onnect with Honey Bunches of Oats on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
