This is not a sponsored post, but I did receive some amazing bra’s from Vanity Fair after speaking with them at the Mom2.0 Summit. All opinions and my love for a comfortable bra are 100% my own.
Let’s talk bras ladies…and comfort. Wait…Did I just say bra and comfort in the same sentence? I can’t remember the last time I actually owned a bra that was truly comfortable, and especially not if it was flattering to my lady lumps. Getting older doesn’t help much in that department either – at a certain point in a ladies life it seems our girls just give up the good fight, admit defeat, and lay down and die. It’s about that point where we decide function trumps fashion. That is until now…
Let me tell you a little secret that I’ve recently discovered…you can have both. Yes you heard me right ladies, you can have a comfortable, well fitting brassiere, that is pretty and flattering at the same time. The key to this sorcery is the right fit. Until I visited with some of the ladies from Vanity Fair at the Mom2.0 Summit a couple months ago, I had no idea I had been wearing the wrong size bra all this time. I had never had a proper fitting before and now that I have I can’t believe the difference.
I tried a few different styles in my real size from Vanity Fair and while I love them all, my two current favorites are Beauty Back Back Smoother, because really ladies, there are very few of us who can’t use a little smoothing here and there, and this week when temps are breaking 100+ degrees, the Cooling Touch. If you’re looking for fit, function and fashion, Vanity Fair really does have something that will fit the bill. I mean going from a gal that used to fling her boulder holder off as she was walking in the door every day to a girl that’s actually comfortable in my bra at the end of the day, is a pretty big deal.
Have you ever been properly fitted for a bra? Did you notice the difference before and after? What’s your biggest bra gripe or issue? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!

July 2, 2015 at 4:33 amThis is going to sound so bad but I’ve never been fitted for a bra – I always just pick up what’s on sale at Steinmart! After reading your post I think I need to rethink this approach though and have a real fitting done!

July 2, 2015 at 4:49 pmI don’t care what it is, a good fit is a necessary feature of anything I buy. If you skimp on the fit and price you always regret it in the end.

July 2, 2015 at 6:16 pmHaha…I definitely need to be properly fitted. I hate to admit, but I just wear whatever old bra I have lying around that sort of fits. Should probably treat myself to new bras 🙂

July 3, 2015 at 2:25 amGod I hate having to wear a bra with a passion, my boobs are far too big. I really need to go and get measured again, thanks for the reminder!
