Time for more Christmas ideas. This time I thought I’d go with some options that are a little more on the practical side. Sounds boring, but think about it, we all get all kinds of fun new stuff and then the new wears off and we’re left with things that we bring out every once in awhile for novelty purposes. Or…or the things we want are high dollar items and not necessarily affordable for everyone. The gift ideas on todays list are affordable, practical, and things that just about anyone can use so you really can’t go wrong.
- Gold Toe Socks – these are seriously the most comfortable socks ever. I’ve loved these for years…my grandma used to always buy them for me. They have plain colors, but I really love some of these holiday inspired prints. I think anyone would be happy if these showed up in their stocking on Christmas morning.
- Infuser Water Bottle – I think a lot of people think these are just for really athletic people, but trust me, they’re not. I love them and I’m probably the last person you’ll find at a gym (until January that is…totally going to change that). I do know that drinking water is super important though and I also know that plain water can be boring, making it harder to consume enough. These fix that! Add a little cucumber and lemon or some strawberries to the infuser and BOOM! no more boring water and it’s still all natural. LOVE! This one by Flavor 2gO is my current personal favorite because it’s glass so your drink just tastes better, it’s easy to clean, and it comes with a free eBook to give you plenty of ideas to keep your infused water flavors fresh and fun.
- Fitness Tracker – Don’t think that just because you don’t go to the gym or run or play sports every day that you can’t benefit from a fitness tracker. I don’t do any of those things and I absolutely adore mine. I have a Fitbit Charge and yes I now pay more attention to my daily activity levels and how many steps I’ve taken, but my fave thing about my tracker, is the sleep tracking function. Let me tell you I’m a crappy sleeper, but I’ve gotten better because I’m able to track my sleep patterns and change things so that they improve. Now you can’t tell me that wouldn’t be some very valuable information for someone on your gift list.
- Wireless Headphones – Again, not a runner but I do like listening to music while I’m at work, but I hate wired headphones because I always have to either take them out when I get up to grab a file or tote my phone around which is usually sitting in my purse while I’m at the office. These are a game changer so if you know someone that likes to listen to music, they would love to get some of these. I promise! (And yes, I’m showing you a stock photo of the ones I have because I keep them in my desk drawer at work and I’m not there right now…sorry!)
