Hot Last Minute Games & Toys {and A Giveaway}

A little over a week til the big day! Yes, THE big day – Christmas! Have you finished all of your shopping yet or do you still have some stragglers left to buy for? If you’re like most people it’s probably the latter so do not fear for I have a few last minute ideas for you that are pretty hot this year.

 

Minecraft Story Mode – Yes Minecraft is one of the most popular games out there regardless of what platform you…errr…. I mean your kids play on. This year, the newest version, Minecraft Story Mode was released and it’s just a great as the original. The difference is that in story mode there is a storyline to follow (thus the title). I personally love it becuase I never really understand the open world  games like the original…I have to have a goal which the story line provides.

 

Playmobil – Playmobil has an amazing lineup this year including this NHL Hockey Arena and this Horse Farm.  If you’re kiddos aren’t into these, there are litterally dozens and dozens of other options. I love these toys because the majority can be expanded on over time and they are made well and made to last. The perfect way to get the creativity flowing in these cold winter months where the kids can be cooped up in the house a little too much.

 

 

 

Chrono Bomb – Now this one is super fun and unlike any other “toy” or “game” I’ve seen on the market. I was able to check it out in person this summer when I attended Sweet Suite at Blogger Bash. Beside the element of just being a ton of fun, I think this would be great for work on problem solving skills and agility. Dare I say there’s more to this one than just the fun that comes with successfully completing the course and being a super stealthy spy?! For sure this in one of my top 10 faves this year.
