Thank you to SheSpeaks and P&G for sponsoring this post. All opinions and my love for the Big Game are 100% my own!
Raise your hand if you’re an attendee of Game Day festivities, but not much of a game watcher? I love a good party, but I’m always the one chatting it up with the other people who aren’t necessarily watching the game. You won’t see me sporting different colored face paint, but you will see me dolled up for the big game. If you have ever been to a Big Game party, you know that you are really up close and personal with people. In other words, if you forget deodorant, they will know. In order to prevent some embarrassment, I’ve got a pre-game hygiene routine down. Check it out below:
Gillette Venus Swirl Razor
I would love a bigger house, but since we’re all jam packed into a tiny location for the Big Game, you know everyone can tell if you don’t shave. While I’m not a huge fan of what people think about me, I do give them the courtesy of shaving. Even if it is winter, I’ll shave, using my Gillette Venus Swirl Razor for the Big Game. This razor can help you get rid of the hair around your knees and ankles like nothing else on the market. There are five contour blades, so there’s not a hair that gets missed. How’s that for part of your pre-game hygiene routine?
Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo
When it comes down to it, your hair has to look and smell clean for the Big Game. Okay, I’ve been known to skip a few days of washing my hair because I don’t like my hair feeling dry, but thankfully Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo is gentle and pH balanced for daily use on all hair types, even on colored or chemically treated hair. So, no matter your hair type, it can look great on a daily basis. Plus, it’s clinically tested and 100% flake free. That’s a good thing because you don’t want to be “that person”.
Crest 3D White Whitestrips Professional Effects
Think about it, your smile is that ONE thing people notice, especially when you’re at the Big Game in a small room. Everyone’s excited and those chompers are going to be showing. Not only do people notice your smile, but you notice your smile. You just want white teeth that are clean and presentable, that’s not too much to ask, is it? I love this stuff because it removes up to 14 years of stains and the results last up to 12 months. Now nobody will know how much coffee I really do drink! This is my favorite part of my pre-game hygiene routine.
Shop at Walmart
If you’re wondering where you can grab all of the best hygiene supplies for your Big Game routine, head to Walmart. Everything you need to keep your #GameDayTraditions going is available at Walmart.

January 26, 2016 at 8:35 amGame day traditions are fun. For us gearing up for game day with some music, enjoying the game with good food. And if my kiddos are playing we wrap up the day with a great shower to wash away all the game dirt! Love game days, whether in person or on tv!

January 26, 2016 at 3:12 pmAlways best to be at the top of your game when it comes to hygiene. Man, I have some of those white strips somewhere and I really need to find them and use them. My poor teeth are battered by coffee and red wine… But I”m not giving up my vices. lol

January 27, 2016 at 8:07 amI really want to try some whitening strips. I drink a lot of tea, so it would be nice to have a good product that makes my teeth their whitest! Thanks for all the tips- I will keep them in mind when I go shopping.

January 27, 2016 at 12:08 pmNever would have put the clean up part with game day either.
Actually we are not a game day family, as sports are not something we typically watch, but I know many people look forward to watching sports with their friends.

January 28, 2016 at 8:07 pmI don’t like football, so much so that I have an anti-football club with a couple friends. We get together and do something else when games are on so I don’t go to game day parties. If I did, I would definitely not be paying attention!

January 28, 2016 at 8:23 pmHaha I used to feel that way, but now I just see it as another reason to hang out with all my friends. It’s one of the few times that couples and singles and those with or without kids can all get together in the same place.
