Easter Oreo Bark

February 24, 2016 by Alison 2 Comments

Did you know that Easter is one of my favorite holidays? Of course there is the obvious religious significance, but for me it’s also the gateway to spring and summer and family getting together. It’s the first holiday after Christmas that we all come together for a huge meal, and some Easter Egg hunting fun. The kids always look so cute in their spring outfits and the little ones are giddy with excitement because the Easter Bunny has made an appearance! It’s just such a happy time. Good times though means you need good food and of course some sweet treats. One of my fave things to make because a) it’s delicious and b) it’s super easy (3 ingredients), is Easter Oreo Bark.  I mean doesn’t it just look delish? It’s melts in your mouth and it’s seriously a treat that you can’t go wrong with.

Susan, I generally microwave on high for 1 min, stir, and if needed add more time at 30 second increments until they’re melted, but I’ve never really had issues getting them to melt. I’ve also melted them in a pan on medium heat and that works just as well it just takes a bit longer.
