This post has not been compensated, but I would like to thank Evite for the Thank You gift I received for participating. All opinions and my love for party’s, planning, and summer are 100% my own.
It official – it’s summer in the Pacific Northwest. Today is the last day of school in our district and Tuesday it was over 100 degrees – because you know, when we do things around these parts we do it big. Fortunately it’s supposed to get back down into the high 80’s by this weekend which is much more bearable and much better for friends, family and fun. All of which we plan on enjoying as much as possible this summer! We seriously have almost every weekend (and some weekdays) booked up with one think or another through like November. Lots of functions, lots of BBQ’s and lots of planning.
This weekend will of course be an end of school bash that the 8th grade parents have planned for the kids. The theme is Hollywood and we thought it would be a fun way to end their Middle School years and send them off to begin their high school years. Yes, you read that right, after today my 1st born is officially a Freshman and I may be tearing up just a little as I’m writing this. Despite the weeping parents though, check out these invitations on Evite – perfect for the occasion!!
Of course you know that we love the ponies so there’s a lot of horsing around in our family. Pretty much ever summer bash has something to do with horses, or horse shows, or our show family so I was pretty happy when I found these. Now I haven’t used them yet, but I’m trying to plan a bash – maybe an end of show season celebration just so I can share them because they’re so darn cute!
We also have trips to the beach lined up, a wedding to participate in (which means showers and parties galore!), birthdays, BBQ’s, I mean there is so much going on I’m almost tired thinking about it. And how do we get everything coordinated and everyone together? We use Evite. There are free and premium options so you’re set no matter what your budget and there’s not a theme or function that you can’t find something for. Remember the beach trip I mentioned, and the Bachelorette party? I think a beach party theme is in order so now my only problem is choosing which Evite I want to use!
So tell me, what will you do this summer? From movie nights, backyard BBQs, pool parties, picnics, beach parties and concerts – there’s so much to explore this summer! Evite’s summer invitations are sure to set the mood for a fun get together with friends and family and that’s what summer’s all about!

June 9, 2016 at 10:15 pmSummer is really a very good time to have fun! We haven’t finalized our plans yet, but we are envisioning fun in the beach or visit a nearby theme park and zoo. I love throwing parties as well and invite guests.

June 10, 2016 at 6:58 amI love every excuse to have friends over for some food, fun and conversation. Themed parties are so fun to plan and execute. The perfectionist side of me comes out in full force, and I tend to go overboard.

June 11, 2016 at 5:58 amI LOVE evite although I don’t use it very often! I try to steer clear of technology when it comes to things like invites…I prefer word of mouth. However, doing it like this makes it somewhat personal because you can personalize the invites!
