The weather’s getting colder here in the Pacific Northwest so naturally I’m beginning to switch from iced drinks to hot, short sleeves to sweaters, sandals to boots and all of the warm, cozy things that go with fall and eventually winter. As much as I love the summer, the Holiday Season is by farm my favorite time of year and that mean lots of entertaining friends and family.
The downside is that I often find myself trying to figure out what I can serve that everyone will love and that takes as little effort on my part as possible; because let’s face it, I want to hang out and be Merry too, not just spend the whole time in the kitchen trying to keep the savages fed. One thing that is super easy to pull together and it makes a lot so you don’t have to worry about running out, is Apple Cider in the Crock Pot (or slow cooker, whatever you want to call it).
