Merry Christmas Eve Eve y’all! Is everyone hanging in there? I mean shopping has been done forever, everything is wrapped up and all that’s left is some casual baking and holiday movies right? Yeah…I thought that was pretty funny too. I just got back from town myself. Hopefully it’s my last run, but I’m pretty sure as soon as I get the last round of wrapping paper, ribbons, and tape (when I can find it) out, I’ll remember that one last thing. The good news is that if you still haven’t found the perfect thing for someone on your list, there is still plenty of time. One of the top items on my list this year was anything Minecraft. It’s definitely still a hot ticket item and everyone from young to not so young seems to really enjoy playing Minecraft so it’s a gift that you can get for a wide variety of people. That kind of makes life a little easier right?
For anyone that’s not quite sure what all the fuss is about (I totally didn’t understand it at first), Minecraft is a game about placing blocks and going on adventures. Players are able to explore randomly generated worlds and build amazing things from the simplest of homes to the grandest of castles. One can play in Creative Mode with unlimited resources or mine deep in Survival Mode, crafting weapons and armor to fend off dangerous mobs. It’s also a game you can play alone or with other friends so I really like that versatility.
Not sure what to get? Best Buy’s assortment of Minecraft games and collectibles, including the very popular Xbox One S console bundle, will have even the most difficult to buy for person on your list squealing with a kid at Christmas type of joy. While the games are very family-friendly and great for kids, there are also toys and collectibles that are sure to make great gifts for anyone already into the game. So while you’re out on your last minute Christmas adventures, be sure to pop into your local Best Buy store and give Santa a run for his money!
