Rumor has it that spring is supposed to show up sometime soon. I mean you wouldn’t guess it by looking outside right now, but once it does warm up, and the sun comes out for more than 20-30 minutes at a time, there’s going to be some entertaining going on. There’s been a bit of a lull between the holidays and now, but we have so many things going on in the upcoming months, that I want to have some fun, easy, delicious food options that don’t require cooking an entire meal. I have a few things that I always have, but some of that’s getting a little over done. You know time to switch it up a little.
Believe it or not, I’ve never cooked with Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry before. I was always intimidated and I’m not even sure why, but when I was searching for new appetizer ideas, I saw so many things that looked amazing using Puff Pastry so I figured I’d give it a try. I picked up a couple of boxes and tried some Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels out on my family and let me tell you – super easy for me and devoured by them. What I love about this particular recipe, is that while it’s technically an appetizer, it’s hearty enough that people could totally have a couple and consider it dinner which is perfect for those times that maybe someone is coming by right after work and hasn’t had an actual meal yet.
