I always thought smoking foods was a time consuming hassle and quite a chore but I’ve learned that it’s actually much easier than you think to add rich flavor to your favorite grilling recipes with Western Smoking Chips. Grilling is definitely one of our favorite parts of the summer season here in the Pacific Northwest. Hubby has been known to bust out the BBQ in a snow drift some years because food just isn’t the same prepared any other way. I currently have a new favorite (read: easy) recipe for Grilled Flank Steak using wood smoking chips and the entire family loved it. you don’t need a lot of ingredients because the Mesquite wood chips give it all the rich, smoked flavor you need which makes me happy because that’s less mess to clean up and less money I have to spend to round out a recipe.
