Dieting…I think for a lot of people, it’s ultimately a lifelong struggle. Finding the proper diet for you. A balance of healthy yet tasty. Don’t eat too much, don’t eat too little, fasting works, fasting is dangerous, drink more water, you’re retaining water, take this pill, wait that pill is dangerous. Vanity versus health. It’s a lot right? That’s why I’ve tried so many failed diet fads, nothing works for the long term. That’s not to say nothing works at all, because some do, but not forever. At this stage of my life, I’m done diet hopping. I want a partner who’s with me for the long haul . Let me introduce you to my new favorite book; Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion.

I no longer have the metabolism of a twenty-something. Probably because I’m 40. Although some days I’d say differently (you know after “sleeping wrong”…what even is that?!), I’m not quite ready for my kids to put me in a retirement home yet. (However, some days that might be more relaxing…) I have a lot of irons in the fire. I’m a full time paralegal, influencer, mom of and 18 and an 8 year old, horse show mom, cheer mom, glorified taxi driver…you know all the things. Of course losing weight is a huge goal, more importantly I want to have more energy so I can keep on keeping on.

“Late-night eating also curbs calorie intake the next day. In a four-week study, dieters added a snack to their daily regimen 90 minutes after dinner every night, and check this out: late-night eaters ate an average of 397 fewer calories per day.”

Now, I don’t know about you, but one thing I remember my Grandma telling me as I was growing up, was not to eat my dinner or snacks too late because I’d gain weight. I guess I just assumed it was true my entire life so imagine my surprise when I learned that might not be entirely accurate. Say what?!

Based on surprising science, Always Eat After 7 PM debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night.  This program makes dieting easy and eliminates 90% of reasons for resistance. For me, getting rid of the excuses is huge and was previously a big roadblock to my success. Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion  is now available to purchase.  Learn more about the book and how to purchase here.

Once you’ve done that come back and let’s chat. What’s your biggest diet struggle? What excites you most about Always Eat After 7PM? Maybe I’ll cover it in my next progress post! Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!
