Y’all the weather has gotten humid here in the Pacific Northwest. And before my mid-west and southern friends say wait a minute, you don’t know humidity — I know, I know. I’m from there and in comparison I’m complaining about nothing BUT the humidity is exhausting. I’ve never liked it. And what in the heck does humidity have to do with food? A lot actually. Part of the reason I’ve always hated humidity is because I always felt super chunky and super out of condition when the humidity kicks in. Now I’m not gonna lie and say it doesn’t bother me at all anymore. Because it does. But not nearly as much. More energy throughout the day, and just feeling more “well” is a huge accomplishment for me and I think I owe a lot of those improvements over the past few weeks to a certain book that I’ve been telling everyone about.
Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is loaded with easy-to-follow meal planning, recipe ideas and food lists. I’ve always said work smarter not harder and Always Eat After 7 PM most definitely takes a lot of the “work” out of creating healthier eating habits. Dare I say it’s actually convenient?! I also love that it’s an actual program – three weeks to ease into it and not some big drastic overnight change that your body just wants to reject.
“Always Eat After 7 pm is a three-phase program that teaches you how to lose big by strategically eating big when you are naturally hungriest—in the evening. This may sound too good to be true, but let me assure you it is no gimmick. It’s all about making strategic and smart food swaps, and you can still eat your favorite foods.”
Where has this sorcery been all my life? Well at least the last 20 “dieting” years anyway. I don’t even know if “diet” is the right word for Always Eat After 7PM because to me, diet generally means taking things that you love away and this does not require that to be successful. Just a little forethought and planning that the book helps with. Remember the part where I don’t have a lot of extra time? If not refresh your memory here. The Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good.
One of my fave recipes from the book is the Chili Loaded Baked Potatoes. Can you say filling? I don’t even have to lie to the kids about them being a “diet” food, because it’s really not. The way and when you consume the food is the diet. Don’t believe me? Why would I be able to indulge in some phenomenal Cherry Garcia Ice Cream in the heat of summer with zero guilt? Think this might be just the lifestyle change you’re looking for? Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is available right now where books are sold.
