Every new diet starts off with excitement and optimism and planning. Big goals are good to have, but I’ve found that often times after that first week goes by, life doesn’t get any less hectic and I slowly start falling off the diet wagon. My problem is, and always has been, lack of convenience. If you’re just joining me and haven’t heard of my fave new book about food and co-existing with it in a healthier manner, then you may want to check out this post, this post, and probably this post as well. It’s okay…I’ll wait….

Now, if we’ve learned anything, it’s that the diets that work are actually lifestyle changes. Not pills, not gimmicks, and not starving because of extremely restricted calorie intake. Not healthy at all. Trust me – As the Queen of Convenience, I’m a huge advocate of work smarter not harder, so if there was a magic bean I’d be all over it. What if it didn’t have to be as hard as we make it though? What if dieting wasn’t made to feel like punishment, but rather just a way of living?

“Research shows that the average person’s metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat at the end of the day. Whether it’s 8 am or 8 pm, you use food for energy the same way.”

Always Eat After 7 PM

Now, let’s say that again – your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. We don’t have to deprive ourselves of certain types of foods, nor do we have to follow a certain schedule to consume those foods; or rather I should say, your schedule doesn’t have to match anyone else’s. You make your diet fit your lifestyle, not the other way around. Game changer right? Now what if I told you that all that info. for your reading pleasure could be found in one little book? Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is now available to purchase and I’m telling you, you should give it a read.

Based on surprising science, Always Eat After 7 PM debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night.  We’ve been traditionally taught to avoid carbs, have an early dinner, and never eat before bed. But the fact is, the latest scientific research shows us this earlier model is not the most ideal. For me, this is amazing news because I’m kind of a night owl to begin with and actually feel more like consuming foods at night than early in the day. I used to make myself go to bed hungry because it was too late to ear. Misery I tell you and I don’t feel guilty anymore when I do eat later in the evenings.

Learn more about the book and how to purchase here. Once you’ve done that come back here and leave me a comment letting me know what would make following a healthy diet easier for you and your family? Thanks for reading!
