Old Mother Hubbard, What’s In Your Pet Snack Cupboard?

Pets; I can’t imagine life without them. I’ve always had a pet of some sort. Usually multiple. We have six people that live in my household so the current pet tally is two cats, six dogs, and several mini horses. Every once in a while a temporary rescue drops in to be fostered. In the past we’ve also had ferrets, guinea pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, lizards of various types and a mini donkey. Of course we live on some acreage (because horses) so most of our current pets have a job as well; you know to earn their keep. I’d be lying though if I said there weren’t a couple that are just spoiled rotten and don’t really have to work for it.

Of all the pets though, I think many would agree, that without a doggo, the family wouldn’t be complete; and that’s exactly why their snack cupboard is always stocked. Making the dogs happy also makes me happy. Also, they all know mom is weak, so they probably get more snacks than they should, which is why I also try to make those snacks as healthy as possible.

Treat Time!

No matter their job or lack thereof, my dogs are important pieces of our very complex family puzzle. When the time comes to spoil them, I like to stick with all natural dog treats from Old Mother Hubbard. Watch that tail go – see that blur? That’s the excitedly wagging nub of our German Shorthair Pointer. She won’t flush a bird out, but you break open the Classic Original Assortment bag of Old Mother Hubbard treats, she’s suddenly at attention. That’s how I know Ellie Mae approves! Five stars – highly recommend!!

I like to know where the things I’m feeding my family, even the four legged members, comes from. Founded in Gloucester, MA, Old Mother Hubbard’s dog treats are all-natural and never artificial, and have been around since 1926. That’s a pretty long time – almost 100 years! Each home-style recipe is carefully crafted from wholesome ingredients that allow you to feel good about giving your pup a reward that is healthy and heartfelt., and all the fun flavors in between, there is a natural choice for every taste that dogs drool over. And while still based in Massachusetts, Old Mother Hubbard is now available at Walmart nationwide which is a big win for us non-Massachusetts dwellers!

I stayed! Can I have some now?! (Model: Lou Dog)
