Hand soap…is it just me or is it hard to find a good one? By good I mean it fits three criteria: 1) smells good, 2) doesn’t dry out your skin, 3) actually kills germs and gets your hands clean. Now that doesn’t seem like too much to ask does it? Well, my experience is that finding all three of those characteristics in an affordable hand soap, is harder than you’d think. It seems though, that Dial has come to the rescue with their new Deep Cleansing Hand Soap. This new version of Dial soaps just became available in February 2014 and I was given the opportunity to try them out. I will say that so far, after a couple weeks of using them, I’m pretty happy with the product.
SMELLS GREAT!
Remember requirement number one? Well Dial Deep Cleansing Hand Soap is available in three awesome scents. They’re not too manly and not overly fruity or sweet so they’re a good fit for all members of the family. The three available scents are:
• Yellow Raspberry & Black Sugar: refreshes your senses with a tart and rich sweetness.
• Water Blossoms: invigorates with a crisp floral scent inspired by aquatic botanicals.
• Coconut Line Verbena: brightens your day with juicy and tangy citrus.
MOISTURIZER? YES PLEASE!
That brings us to requirement number two – the drying out of the skin. I don’t like that and a lot of antibacterial soaps I’ve found are more like hand sanitizer in this aspect. Dial Deep Cleansing Hand Soaps have magical moisturizing formulas with skin conditioners hydrate your skin and visibly improve skin dryness. This special concoction also meets requirement number three, actual deep cleaning because it includes micro-scrubbers that help remove all that dirt and grime from your hand.
While it’s not a mandatory requirement, being aesthetically pleasing is a plus since the soap bottles will be displayed on sinks throughout your house. The sleek new bottles with bright colored soap and labels ensure that isn’t an issue. Personally the bright colors make me feel a little happier when I look at them. Weird right?
DO I LOVE IT?
Overall, yes, so far. Of course only time will tell for sure, but after a couple weeks of consistent use I’ve gotten no complaints from the family and I’m a pretty happy camper myself. I received the Yellow Raspberry & Black Sugar and Water Blossoms scents to try and loved them both. The scrubbing beads were not abrasive, but you could tell they were there and my skin definitely didn’t feel dried out after use. Be sure to check out the Dial Facebook page for more information and updates.
