Sharp AQUOS Crystal: The Edgeless Android

My name is Alison. I love gadgets. If you’ve been around long at all, you know I get giddy with excitement when it comes to checking out new technology and playing with gadgets. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t always know the specs behind what makes these things run, but I can tell you if it’s something that’s going to make your life easier or more fun. This time I’m going to tell you about the Sharp AQUOS Crystal smartphone brought to you by Sprint.

 

 

Sprint and its prepaid brands (Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile USA) are the exclusive U.S. carriers for this  groundbreaking AQUOS device. Sharp, a company known worldwide for its unique one-of-a-kind electronics is determined to create a balance between work and personal time with products that can benefit customers’ lives and that’s where this phone comes in to play. The Sharp AQUOS Crystal breaks the mold of traditional smartphone design with stunning picture quality, an immersive, vibrant display, and its sleek, 5-inch edge-to-edge HD screen.

 

Advanced photo features, like “Night Catch”, brighten the subject and background for nighttime shots which is something I personally think is awesome. So many times I’ve gone to take a photo with my phone, because let’s be honest, we don’t always have an actual camera, but we always have our camera phone, and if it’s dusk or just getting a little too dark out, often times that could be amazing shot doesn’t turn out at all.

 

 

Memories happen very quickly and those candid moments can be difficult to capture. The Sharp AQUOS Crystal makes capturing those moments easy by automatically taking a photo when it detects a smile! To me, that is priceless because I’m forever snapping my pic just before or just after the kiddos actually have a smile on their face. Automatic smile detection…who knew?!

 

Pictures aren’t only thing this phone does well though. The Sharp AQUOS Crystal comes equipped with Google Mobile services including Google Search, Google Maps, Google Navigation, Google Talk, Google Calendar, Google+ and YouTube! Efficiency at your fingertips…I like that.  In addition, as part of Sprint’s offerings on this new device, the Sharp AQUOS Crystal smartphone will have the added benefit of running on the Sprint Spark network, which enhances the phone’s LTE service, allowing for high quality video.
