Four Ingredient Oven Baked Mac & Cheese

January 7, 2015 by Alison 3 Comments

Only 4 ingredients!! Yes, you heard me right, four ingredients and you have some of the best, home baked macaroni and cheese I’ve ever had. I’ve made mac & cheese several different ways, but this is by far the easiest and everyone who has tried it so far has loved it!

Oven Baked Mac & Cheese

Yield: Serves 4-6

Ingredients

1 Cup Macaroni

1 1/2 Cups Small Curd Cottage Cheese

1 1/2 Cups Shredded Cheddar or American Cheese

4 Tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese

MacandCheeseIngredients

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain. In a large bowl, combine cheese, cottage cheese, cooked macaroni and parmesan cheese. You will still see cottage cheese curds in the mixture, but these will smooth out when baked.

Spray a 2-quart glass baking dish with non-stick spray and spoon mixture into baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

So easy and so good! Some people are a bit unsure about the cottage cheese in the recipe, but once they try it they agree it’s amazing and those that don’t know it’s in there when I make it, have never noticed. Trust me, you’ll love it!
