Let’s talk about something serious today. I’m not talking about flags that may or may not be racist. Althought important, I’m not talking about marrige rights and equality amongst people. I’m not talking about the fact that my facebook feed looks like the confederate army went to war with a skittles factory (that’s like my favorite meme lately – hilarious right?). What I’m talking about friends, is toilet paper. I think toilet paper really says a little bit about who you are as a person, how much you love yourself, your family, and yes, how much you care about the comfort and well being of your friends and guests.
Think about it. When you go to visit friends and family, you generally have to use the facilities at some point and that means toilet paper. I for one, cringe when I get situated and reach over just to find a roll of flimsy, rough, 1-ply. As my 13 year old son said earlier today “1-ply makes people hate you!”. I call it John Wayne toilet paper – it’s rough, and it’s tough, and it don’t take no crap off nobody. There are some places I go, that I feel like I should pack my own T.P. for the visit. That wouldn’t be weird right? Don’t do that to your friends and loved ones!
