Today’s post is sponsored by Gerber® Good Start ® Infant Formulas, who believe that comfort for baby means happiness for all. Here is my Formula for Happiness™.
It’s no secret one of my goals for the new year is getting healthy. That means making healther choices because I’m the first to admit, I lead a high stress life and I make horrible choices under pressure. I make convenient choices and choices that are instantly gratifying, and thats often times not the healthiest choice.
In addition to my own health though I have to make choices that are healty for my family. I think a lot of people get focused on their own goals, exercise, weight loss, or whatever they may be and they sometimes forget to include the rest of the family and that means baby too. There are healthier options our there for the youngest members of the family as well and that starts with food.
Gerber® Good Start® is the perfect option if you’re trying to make helthier choices for your baby. They have an entire line of products are not made with genetically engineered ingredients ranging from Stage 1 formula to Stage 3 toddler drinks. No genetically engineered ingredients…that has to make you feel a little better right?
Gerber made a big decision and decided to make all of their Good Start® formulas without the use of genetically engineered ingredients because that is what a significant number of parents want. It just makes sense. I mean afterall, this is going in to the mouths of your most precious gift.
Because they have made this change across all of their formulas, Gerber can offer non-GMO products to moms with a wide variety of needs—those who want their base product, those who supplement with breast milk, those with babies who need a soy formula, and even those who have babies with tolerance issues. Sounds like some pretty good options to me!
What are you thoughts about non-GMO products? What is your #formulaforhappiness?

December 21, 2015 at 4:21 amThis is such an amazing way to make sure our children have the best of the best. I have always loved Gerber and it was all I gave my babies. Although this was not an option then I am so happy to see that Gerber continues to strive to offer the best nutrition for babies.

December 21, 2015 at 6:43 amI think going GMO free is just plain smart. I have no interest in genetically engineered food for myself, my family, my pets…or anyone. One more thumbs up for Gerber for being GMO free!

December 21, 2015 at 11:03 amWe’ve tried most of the Gerber line from formula when we were supplementing to the finger foods and snacks when my daughter was learning to eat solids. They’ve always got great products, and my daughter would eat them, so it was a win all around! 🙂

December 21, 2015 at 1:37 pmYou have such gorgeous children! As far as GMO’s, I try to purchase products that are non-GMO, it’s hard nowadays to really know what is the right thing but, I feel more comfortable using non-GMO. Then again, I enjoy products that are not.

December 22, 2015 at 5:12 amI think it is great that you are making healthy decisions not only for yourself but for your family as well; it is also one of my goals to get healthy for the new year (and this time to REALLY stick with it). I used to eat Gerber products as a baby and it is good to see that Gerber is still going strong!

December 22, 2015 at 7:09 amThey make it so easy to feed your baby well these days. Gerber’s line makes a parent feel so confident and assured baby is getting a nutritious and delicious meal. I’m so impressed with how they’ve continued to make sure of that.

December 22, 2015 at 9:05 amI think the big companies need to start offering more natural options. The research is showing that the number of people with food related autoimmune diseases is rapidly increases. We can’t keep eating toxic foods and expecting to be healthy even if it is vegetables. It makes me so angry!
