This Summer Is Going to the Dogs

Unleash the party animals! No really…let them all out. Dogs, cats, birds…they’re all invited. At least that’s the way it usually goes at my house. Our family is full of animal lovers so every time we do anything together, it’s usually an animal friendly function (yes we let the kids come too). That’s why I sort of fell in love with Evite’s new like of animal-themed invitations. They also have some animal themed birthday, sympathy and other special occasion greeting cards which is awesome because I mean how can you not smile when you’ve got puppies and kittens staring you in the face!

 

 

I’m kind of partial to this invitation because it totally reminds my of our German Shorthair Pointer, Ellie,  ever single time there’s cake (or anything she shouldn’t have for that matter) within sniffing distance. There are even invitations to actually throw a party for  your pet’s birthday or other milestone (Bark mitzvah, new puppy adoption or yappy hour, anyone?). I mean heck – any reason to celebrate right?!  We also have a mini-dachshund, Molly, so I thought these were pretty fitting for our household too. It’s not too late to have a “finished with Middle School on to High School” party for my son right?! I still haven’t fully come to terms with the fact that I have a high schooler now, but since I do, I’m sure we’ll have tons of reasons for celebration over the next few years.
