I have not been compensated for this post, however I did receive a complimentary Cricut Explore Air™ 2 and supplies as part of the Cricut Blogger program.
I love crafts and DIY everything. I have so many ideas and of course, like most people, don’t have enough time to create even half of the things I “pin for later“. Anyone else guilty? Thought so. One of the things I’ve been wanting for some time now though is that super awesome Cricut cutting machine that seems to make crafty people even more magical. I’ve seen so many cool projects and gorgeous cards that people have made so it’s been at the top of my wish list for a couple years now. Also I’m sort of a planner addict and I need to make my own planner stickers. Guess what? That wish was granted and I’m now the proud owner of that beautiful Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine that you see below.
Of course I’m super excited because I can make all the things now. I mean I still have to learn how because I’m a total Cricut newbie, but that’s a journey I plan on taking you all on too because I can’t be the only one who isn’t already a Cricut pro. (Please tell me I’m not the only one!) Now the functionality of this machine is awesome – we already know that, but I also adore the mint color it came in. It looks so pretty sitting on my workstation (aka desk) and do you see all of those supplies?! Be still my heart! I already followed the instructions to make the demo card that you see below and it came out amazing so I’m very excited to get started on making some of my very own creations!
Now the only question left is what all am I going to create next? After watching this “How to Cricut” video There are so many things that I want to do that it’s actually kind of difficult to narrow it down. I will definitely be creating some planner stickers and I have some fun T-shirts in mind. (We’re headed to Disneyland in July and I’m pretty sure the entire family needs matching shirts right?!) I’m going to be launching my own LuLaRoe business in just a few weeks so there are a ton of things I can create for that! Valentine’s Day is next week so I think my daughter and I will be creating some fun Valentine’s cards for the kiddos in her class and really the list could go on and on! With all of the supplies I have to work with and the amazing projects and tutorials on Cricut Design Space, the possibilities truly are endless!
For ideas and inspiration be sure to follow my Cricut board on Pinterest then tell me what types of things do you make with your Cricut machine? What would you like to learn how to make? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!

[…] was fairly simple and I had even created my first “test” project (all of which you can read about here). What next though? Well fast forward a couple weeks and I’ve got some big news! I’m in […]
