Fun fact about me; when I first met my husband (roughly 10 years ago) I still had dial-up internet. Yeah, AOL is right. Anyone remember hearing “you got mail!” and being so excited even if it was spam? Please don’t let anyone pick up the phone in another room because that would result in connection lost…my kids have no idea the struggle we went through. Anyway, I know a lot of you are going “10 years, that’s really not that long ago, we had DSL back then you crazy lady!” Yes I know but at the time I wasn’t blogging, and basically I only needed internet because My Space would have been lost without my presence. Anywhoo…basically what I’m saying is that 10 years ago, I was not a techy person in the least. Now, it’s a whole new ballgame – my husband (boyfriend and then fiance’ at that time) was not having dial-up so I upgraded. Fast forward to today and I must have all the things when it comes to electronics and gadgets.
After you run to Best Buy and pick up your Chromecast Audio, you’ll be able to play music on your speakers, wirelessly from your phone, laptop or tablet. Because Chromecast Audio uses WiFi instead of Bluetooth, the sound will be amazing and clear. I feel a lot of impromptu dance parties coming on in our house! Of course since you can control your Chromecast Audio with an app on your phone, it’s easy to play, pause, or change the volume from anywhere in your home and the music streaming apps that you already love, like Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Google Play Music are totally compatible.
