I hate water….no, scratch that…I don’t hate water, I hate tasteless water. Bland is bad and I’m kind of a soda junkie. Not just the caffeine, but the fizzy bubbles too – ice cold it’s refreshing and not boring like water. But alas, one cannot live on Mt. Dew alone, in fact I think my love soda is part of the reason I haven’t been as successful in shedding the extra weight I’ve come to loathe as I could be. But I’m weak…when I’m tired and burned out in the afternoon and the coffee has long since worn off, the temptation to grab a delicious, bubbly beverage overpowers my will to be healthier and consume appropriate amounts of water. What’s a girl to do?
Find a soda replacement seems like the logical answer right? Easier said than done my friends. I really have tried but it doesn’t take long for me to get tired of bland and tasteless. I mean let’s be honest, my day job is insurance which isn’t super exciting so something has to be bold if for no other reason, to keep me awake until it’s time to clock out.
