Have you been naughty or nice this year? I think I’ve been pretty nice but at the end of the day, only Santa can really say. I have a few super fun things on my want list so I’m really hoping the jolly fat man sees things my way too! In the meantime I’ve been trying to get my gift list for the rest of the family taken care of and boy can that be a challenge! While I’m considering what to get for the human family though, I know exactly what my furry family members are getting; an extra special, super easy to create, dog treat jar!

DIY Treat Jar

Supplies Needed

Jar with Secure Lid

(I found this cute dog themed one on sale, but you can choose whatever  container you want.)

2-3 Colors Paint

Paint Brush

Stencils (if you don’t want to freehand)

Dog Themed Scrapbook Stickers

Directions

This is literally a create however you want to project. I used some of the scrapbook stickers to put all the dogs names on the treat jar, as well as a couple of other sticker embellishments.

I also used the paint and stencils to decorate the sides of my treat jar so that the love can be seen from any point of view.

Once the most epic dog treat jar ever is created, you can share the holiday season with your furry friend by filling that jar up with BLUE Santa Snacks® holiday treats. You can pick them up while you’re out finishing up your Holiday Shopping since they can be found at many retailers including Target, Meijer, Kroger, PetSmart and more! Developed by pet parents for pet parents, Blue Buffalo was founded by the Bishops when their dog Blue was struggling with cancer. Working with an animal nutritionist and a great veterinarian, they developed BLUE Life Protection Formula® for dogs and cats, which has become the #1-selling natural pet food in America. We love our pets, which is why everything we do always comes back to the idea that we think of them as family. Blue Buffalo stands for commitment to Pet Cancer research and awareness and they are dedicated to pet parent education and dialogue. Now those are some ideals I can get behind! Love them like family. Feed them like family.

This doesn’t go only for the dog food though, the BLUE Santa Snacks that your pets are going to love, are baked crunchy dog treats featuring holiday spices like cinnamon and wholesome ingredients like oatmeal, barley, pumpkin and flax seed.  What better way to share the holiday season with your furry friend than fun Christmas tree, star, and bell shaped treats? As if that’s not enough, BLUE will also have a “Naughty or Nice” social contest  supporting BLUE Santa Snacks. Pet parents can submit a photo of their pet as naughty or nice and they will receive an overlay image card that can be shared on social media. Each week there will be winners for a BLUE stocking with BLUE Santa Snacks and potential to win the grand prize of a $500 gift card so head over to bluesantasnacks.com right now and get your entry in!!!
