{Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. I received Organic Matcha- Green Tea Powder By KissMe Organics for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This post may contain affiliate links.}
Is there anyone out there that hasn’t heard about at least some of the awesome benefits of Green Tea? It’s supposed to aid in stress relief, weight loss (acts as an appetite suppressant and boosts metabolism), and boost energy. Matcha Green Tea is supposed to have all those benefits, but ten-fold. From what I understand every 1 cup of Match Green Tea is supposed to be equivalent of 10 cups of regular green tea. And heck, since everyone wants to be less stressed, skinnier, and more energetic, this sounds pretty awesome right? Except…I’m not a big tea drinker. I did have a few cups of Kiss Me Organics Matcha Green Tea and I do like it. The flavor (with a little Splenda added of course) is just about right, not to sharp like some Green Tea can be and certainly not bland.
Obviously I do on occasion drink a cup of warm tea in the evening, but I don’t run around drinking tea, of any type, even sweet iced tea in the summer, on a regular basis. So how is a non-regular tea drinker supposed to honestly asses Match Green Tea? Easy! This Matcha Green Tea by Kiss Me Organics is actually a finely ground green tea powder so you can drink it like you think tea should traditionally be consumed, or you can use it in your regular recipes when you prepare them without anyone even really noticing. Fantastic right?
Benefits of Matcha Green Tea
• ALL DAY ENERGY & FOCUS: Lift your vitality and concentration with the slow release natural energy from Organic Matcha
• CALORIE BURNING BOOSTER: Support your weight loss goals with an all-natural way to increase your body’s metabolism
• NOT JUST FOR DRINKING: Kiss Me Organics Matcha Green Tea Powder arrives in an easy-to-use airtight health grade packaging allowing for as much or as little use as you need for any occasion. Enjoy a relaxing latte in the morning, bake a dozen cupcakes or simply add a small boost to your morning smoothie
• 137x ANTIOXIDANTS OF BREWED GREEN TEA: USDA Organic Matcha Green Tea can only be used in a powdered form because, unlike brewed green tea, it contains the entire tea leaf which dramatically increases the nutritional content.
What I Liked
• I like that the package is re-sealable. Now that doesn’t seem like a big deal, and it’s not until you get a product that doesn’t have that feature. So yes, I like the packaging – it helps keep it fresh.
• I like that I don’t have to drink it if I don’t want to. Tea isn’t for everyone but there are so many benefits to Green Tea that I think it’s awesome that anyone can use this, even if they don’t want to drink it. Definitely some brownie points there.
• I love that they send a recipe guide for FREE when you purchase the tea. It’s awesome that you can use it in baking and cooking, but the fact that they give you some ideas on how to do that is great. And the recipe guide is just that, a guide, once you start looking through it, you get ideas on your own on how to incorporate Organic Matcha Green Tea powder into your own meal plans. (I actually added some of the powder to some brown gravy that I made one evening just to see if anyone would notice, and if they did, they never said a word!)
For more information or to learn more go to Kiss Me Organics Website or head over to Amazon to purchase some for yourself.

April 8, 2014 at 10:34 amI have tried this myself and it is yummy. I drank mine as tea a few times and sprinkled some on some vanilla ice cream with pecans. THAT was delicious. I do appreciate the bag that they use– it stands up on its own so it doesn’t get lost in the mess that is my kitchen;)
