Thank you to Acer and Blog Meets Brand for sponsoring this post. My love for technology and gadgets is all my own.
It’s no secret, I love gadgets. I love them and I want to try every single one of them that comes out. Being a busy mom, wife, insurance agent, blogger, and social media junkie, these little pieces of technological magic help me to be more organized, efficient, available, and let’s face it, they let me entertain myself between clients or when I’m waiting for karate class to be over. I honestly don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have something to entertain the kids on road trips (and yes, myself as well). Anymore it’s almost unheard of to leave the house without a device of some sort and I think most families would agree. Today I’d like to introduce the Acer Iconia Tab 8. It’s cute, it’s simple, and the thin size is perfect to throw in a purse or book bag.
Not only is the Acer Iconia Tab 8 sleek and solid with crisp displays and wide viewing angles, Intel Inside provides optimal performance. This tablet operates on an Android operating system and it features a fast Intel CPU for smoother graphics rendering, a brilliant IPS display (which is what allows the wide viewing angle), two speakers for a powerful audio experience which is important when you’re watching an awesome movie (or lets be honest, the newest Vines compilation on You Tube), and it has a metal back cover and mid-frame for added strength which is a big win with kids and husbands around.
The Acer Iconia Tab 8 is very versatile…or practical would be the term in “mom speak”. The Intel atom CPU delivers smooth web browsing, game play and videos and you can enjoy these activities for a while with up to 7.5 hours of battery life; quite possibly making the Acer Iconia Tab 8 one of the best economical tablets currently on the market. It offers a little something for every member of the family. Now for those of you used to Apple iOS, there could be a bit of a learning curve using this, but the price is definitely right so depending on what you’re after, that may be more important. I’m definitely thinking Christmas gifts for those hard to buy for tween, teens, and college students.
Do you use a tablet device? If you do, what are your favorite features? If you’re not already using one, what features do you think you would be looking for in a tablet? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!

October 8, 2014 at 2:32 pmSomehow, I prefer Android devices to Apple and this sounds great! I treated myself to an Xperia tab recently and have been playing about with it.
