Thank you to Foster Farms for making this post possible. My love for easy, tasty meals is all my own.
I’m a busy girl and I get tired. For some reason though, the rest of the family believes they need to eat dinner every day. Weird right? Well, having hangry kids and husbands doesn’t make for a fun evening after a long, stressful day at work; so what does this tired mama do? I make something fast, easy, and fun once in a while. Recently I’ve found that Foster Farms makes some amazing chicken strips that completely fit the bill!
We just cooked up a bag of Crispy Strips with some Mac & Cheese and there ya go…dinner is served. Kids and adults were happy campers and they’re made from 100% all natural breast meat so I was feeling pretty good about serving a decently well rounded meal even on a night that I didn’t think I had it in me. (Okay, I may have left out a veggie, but don’t judge…we all have those days!) The chicken strips taste great and you’d never know they were previously frozen and super convenient. I cooked these in the oven per the instructions on the package, but you can also deep fry them, or pop them in the microwave if you need them super quick. I like having options.
If you’re feeling a little more creative, Foster Farms even has recipes on the website for you to try out. And for those of you that lead a gluten-free lifestyle, Foster Farms even has some options for you! I think I’ll be checking these out next since even though we’re not gluten-free, we’ve been trying to cut down on the amount of gluten in our diet so this would be perfect to incorporate and still have the element of convenience.
Do you use Foster Farms frozen chicken products? What’s your favorite flavor of chicken or what would you like to try? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!
