I received a free product for review purposes. All opinions and my love for Bulldogs is 100% my own!
I saw this product and I had to try it out because I own an English Bulldog and if you know anything about them, you know they’re high maintenance…especially their faces. You have to keep their wrinkles clean and dry and you have to pay special attention to their noses. The way their faces are made, their tongues can’t reach their nose to lick them and keep them moist like other dogs, so you have to moisturize them for them, usually with Vaseline or something, but that can be kind of messy. So, when I saw this I thought it was brilliant and super excited to see if it would actually work.
About Snoutstik
Snoutstik® was created to help alleviate dry dog noses caused by exposure to the elements, allergies or heredity, but any dog’s nose will find relief with Snoutstik®’s core combination of healing, natural sunscreens, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Jojoba Seed Oil. The unique, no-mess Snoutstik®dispenser and silky-smooth formula make it so easy to apply healing moisture to your dog’s dry nose, you’ll be sure to dab it on several times a day. It comes in three formulas: Rosemary (the formula I tried) for soothing inflammation, Lavender for gentle nose care, and Pumpkin for environmental damage.

Applying the Snoutstik was just like using chapstick — I love that. It is so much less messy than Vaseline and doesn’t get under my nails. Now my Petunia hates when it’s time to goop her nose so she fights a little bit. Because of that some days it was hard to get enough of the Snoutstik on her nose, but on calmer days, or if your pup isn’t a brat like mine, that probably wouldn’t be an issue. As far as moisturizing and keeping the pretty nose from getting too dry, it worked great and there were no adverse reactions to the product. Overall, I think it’s awesome and especially think I’ll love it to take when we travel or go camping instead of having to lug around a tub of Vaseline just for the dog.
If you’re interested in trying it out for your pup, make sure to check your local pet store, or the Snoutstik website.
