Thank you to Dunkin’ Donuts for sponsoring this post. My love of donuts and chocolate is 100% my own.
I’m not sure if I ever told you this, but I have a bit of a sweet tooth. Now usually I’m pretty good…I can be pretty disciplined and stay away from too much sweet goodness most of the time. I’m not saying it’s easy, but I can do it. Sometimes though, I just need a little cheat to satisfy that hunger. One of my very favorite things to indulge in is donuts. There’s just something about that fried bread and frosting or glaze, preferably chocolate, that makes me a very happy girl. I suppose it’s not much of a surprise that one of my fave places to pick up one of these delicious delicacies is Dunkin’ Donuts.
Now, can you guess how excited I was when I found out that Dunkin’ Donuts was unveiling a new Fudge Croissant donut just in time for the New Year? Oh my gosh…be still my heart. If you’re a chocolate lover like I am, I would say run…run now and try this out. Basically Dunkin’ Donuts has combined their famous glazed croissant donuts with a decadent fudge filling (yes! fudge filling!) and topped it with a chocolate and white icing drizzle. Fact: The first Croissant Donut at Dunkin’ Donuts was introduced in 2014 as a limited-time only menu item, and became one of the most popular limited-time bakery items in brand history.
Sadly, like anything else in this world that I love and adore (you know like your fave lipstick or foundation, maybe your favorite style of jeans) the new Fudge Croissant donut is also only available for a limited time so you don’t want to waste any time getting your booty to the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts. Now, on the bright side, if you miss out on this, or if for some reason you’re not a chocolate lover (weird but possible), Dunkin’ Donuts offers its full menu, including breakfast items, all day long. To me, that’s a value of epic proportions because my family is a bunch of breakfast loving fools. You know, I could really get used this Fudge Croissant donut lifestyle…
So tell me, are you a donut fan? What’s your favorite kind? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!
