{I received a complimentary Ozeri CardioTech Blood Pressure monitor in exchange for my honest review of the product. No additional compensation was received. Opinions are 100% my own and based on my personal experience with the product.}
Now I’m not the absolute healthiest person in the world, but I try. I manage to keep the diet around the house pretty healthy (although I won’t lie, I love me some milk and cookies in the evening a couple times as week); but I’ll be the first to admit that with super busy schedules and not enough time in the day, consistency is not my strong point. Sometimes convenience wins in order to get everything done in a day. As a result, as a family, we probably do not monitor our basic health stats as much as we should which sucks because with my hubby’s Bradycardia (very low end of normal heartbeat meaning a pacemaker may be necessary in the future) and my forever being 30 pounds heavier than I should be, staying on top of our health and wellness should be at the tip top of our priority list! That’s why I was very interested in checking out the Ozeri Cardio Tech Pro Series BP5K Digital Blood Pressure Monitor when given the opportunity. Being able to monitor something as simple, but as important as my family’s blood pressure conveniently at home would be an awesome start to being aware and becoming healthier!
When I received the Ozeri Cardio Tech I was surprised at how small it was. I knew that it was a wrist monitor because of the research I had done prior to receiving it, but I was so used to those big contraptions they strap on you at the doctor’s office, that image is what was in my head so I was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box. In addition to being conveniently small for easy portability, this thing has voice guided operation which means it walks even tech-challenged people who have no idea what the difference between diastolic and systolic means (like me) through the process. I actually got it right the first time I strapped it on because the monitor told me exactly what to do. My hubby was even successful when he tried it out (because you know he has to check out everything that comes into the house for himself!) The digital readout is large enough to see and even if it wasn’t it tells you what your results are. Unfortunately the device told me that my blood pressure is a bit on the high side, but at least now I know and I can work on changing that. I can also easily and conveniently keep monitoring my blood pressure to know if it gets better or worse (which I hope is not the case). Prior to using the Ozeri Cardio Tech Pro Series, I didn’t really think about how important knowing this information was or how easy it was to participate in my own health monitoring without relying on an annual or bi-annual physical at the doctor’s office.
Some of the awesome features of the Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series BP5K Digital Blood Pressure Monitor are:
