Tell me the truth; has the summertime boredom set in yet? I mean most kiddos have been out of school for at least a couple of weeks now so they most certainly already eaten through all of the food in the house and most likely decided there is nothing even remotely interesting to occupy their days. I know mine are currently in the stage of lying in wait until I get home from work so they can pounce and beg me to do something super-duper fun!!!
A lot of days, let’s be honest, the last thing I feel like doing is anything that requires any effort. I mean these people are going to want to eat dinner as well I suspect – that’s enough already! Even I, who will eat peanut butter and jelly for dinner before I make a stop at the market on the way home, have fallen in love with this awesome Laser Tag game from Kidzlane though. I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical at first, because sometimes you can get this stuff and it’s just not as cool as it seemed when you saw it online. This is way cool though!
Everyone including my daughter, hubby, and mother-in-law got in on the action and as you can see from the photos, had a blast! Now this running around….okay any kinds of running, isn’t usually my thing, but this was legitimately fun. You can select your “weapon”, there’s a button to reload, and lights that indicate how much life you have left. Easy to use and not a bunch of pieces and parts to keep track of, this mama is sold! Obviously the rest of the family is in agreement.
