Whether you are enjoying a relaxing facial or having your evening make-up done, I really believe that the treatment is only half of the service when visiting any spa. Yes, you want to leave looking beautiful, but you also want to feel relaxed and joyful after your spa experience.
So, when looking for a spa, look for one that has really considered each and every aspect of the spa experience. From the atmosphere to the service they provide, they want you to be satisfied with your overall time at our spa, as well as the outcome of your treatment. After all, a trip to a spa is all about feeling good.
Of course, the treatments themselves need to be considered. Let’s say you’re having a scalp treatment. Do they use certified products like ENS BIO Follicle Treatments? Don’t choose any old spa. Make sure those working there have training in the sort of treatments you need.
When you go to a spa, the team should do all they can to ensure you feel comfortable. They will have worked hard to try and generate an ambience that is serene, relaxing and luxurious. They will have sourced all aspects of the décor with a great amount of care, from light fluffy duvets, to colourful graffiti art splashes on the washroom walls, to the brown leather sofas – the options are endless when it comes to spa design.
There should be other little extras they supply to enhance your overall experience when choosing one of the group spa packages. Do they treat you to a nice glass of bubbly or organic tea as you enjoy a skin treatment? They should want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
I know that a trip to a spa can sometimes be a bit daunting for those that have never been before. Simply knowing what type of spa package to choose can seem difficult. Does the spa provide complimentary consultations to help with this? They can assess your skin type if you wish or advise you on any treatments they think would be the best for you. Whether you are experiencing skin irritation, simply feeling a bit stressed or need some preparation for a night out, they can help.
When treating yourself to a manicure or a facial it is important to have the true spa experience. You don’t want to be rushed in and out! You don’t want to have a treatment whilst there is loads of noise and distractions. You want to be pampered and that’s what you deserve.
